Blitz 5 Top 25: Fantastic finish in the cards

As the regular season comes to the finish line the Blitz 5 Top 25 presented by TriStateFootball.com offers one more chance for teams to validate what they have worked so hard for.

For the most part things have fallen into place in the rankings with Winton Woods’ win over La Salle which caused some jumping at the top of the poll. The hierarchy of the top 10 squads still has one more week to establish itself. There are bragging rights still to be settled on Friday night.

Before the final 2019 poll is posted next week there are some great battles that will leave their mark on the season’s last chapter. Fairfield looks to unseat Colerain atop the GMC standings for the first time in two decades. La Salle and Elder will duke it out for the GCL South title. Wyoming has dominated the CHL over the past three years and Indian Hill would love nothing more than to spoil that party as the two teams meet in our final Blitz 5 tour stop of the year. Two teams that have not enjoyed playoff success, Ross and Talawanda, hope to change the course of their history.
