Fairfield’s Thomas voted POW

Phil Thomas of Fairfield was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 9, tallying 3,071 votes (26.17 percent).
Thomas picked off two passes and had a 31-yard touchdown run in the Indians’ shutout of Oak Hills.
He edged out Evan Mulberry of Simon Kenton and Anderson’s James Camden in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 13 players were nominated with 11,737 votes casted.
