Senior Salute: Reis Stocksdale
- Updated: January 26, 2021
The Little Miami football program has had unprecedented prosperity the past three seasons. Before 2018 the Panthers had been to the playoff just once, in 1992. They have been to the postseason in each of the last three years.
A major reason for that success was receiver Reis Stocksdale. A four-year starter whose grit and effort set the tone for the foundation that has been laid for future Panthers.
Stocksdale capped off a great career with 38 receptions for 862 yards, amassed 1,107 all-purpose yards and found the end zone 13 times (11 rec, two rush) as a senior. He was named 2020 OPSWA First Team All-Ohio for his work. Stocksdale became just the third player from Little Miami ever named First Team All-Ohio and the first Panther to do it in the 21st century. His 323 yards receiving versus Wilmington this past fall were seventh most in a game in Ohio history.
Stocksdale leaves Little Miami with 104 receptions (second most in school history) for 2,046 yards, 31 touchdown catches (most in school history), 35 total touchdowns and 2,770 all-purpose yards. His offers include Dayton, Butler, Valparaiso, Wayne State, Marist, Lake Erie, Sienna Heights and Ohio State as a Preferred Walk-on.
