Campbell County voted Team of the Week

The Campbell County Camels were voted the Gold Star Chili Team of the Week for Week 1 as they opened up the regular season with a 21-0 victory over Newport Central Catholic.

The Camels finished with 1,663 votes (29.46 percent) of the 5,644 total votes tallied, edging out Highlands and McNicholas in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.

Badin, Milford, Moeller, Princeton, Roger Bacon, Scott, St. Xavier, Walnut Hills and Western Hills were also nominated.

As the Team of the Week winner, Campbell County will be presented an award to the team in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
