There were 16 quarterbacks in the TriState Football coverage area that threw for 2,000-plus yards in 2021. Three of the top top seven were from the GCL South. Four of the top 13 were out of the ECC.
Leading the way was Drew Novak of Western Brown. His 5,269 passing yards is the sixth highest season total in Ohio history. Novak, the OPSWA Division III Offensive Player of the Year and Ohio Mr. Football finalist heads into his senior year with 9,924 yards through the air., 13th most in Ohio history. He is projected to finish with the third most yards behind Maty (18,932) and Ben (17,364) Mauk of Kenton.
