Tucked away in the western most coverage area of TriState football lies a hidden gem of a player, Reid Messer of North Decatur. He runs, he catches, he tackles and most importantly, he puts points on the scoreboard for the Chargers.

There may not be a player in the Hoosier state that goes into their senior year hotter than Messer. Over the last six games of his junior season the 6-foot-1, 190-pound RB/DB ran for 1,174 yards (games of 254, 250, 196 and 195 RuYds), with 18 rushing touchdowns (four games with four RuTDs) and 139 points scored (four games of 26 points or more). The stat sheet filler was also named IFCA Class 2A Junior All-State (DB) on defense.
