By The Numbers: Mitch Bolden

Lakota West QB Mitch Bolden (Greg Shoemaker/TriStateFootball.com)

Four games into his freshman year Mitch Bolden completed his first varsity pass for Lakota West. Now he heads into his senior season as the Firebirds all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns. Bolden also holds the record for touchdown passes in a season (21). Perhaps more amazing, he didn’t throw his first touchdown pass until the second game of his sophomore campaign.

The two-time OPSWA Division I Southwest District Honorable Mention selection is 19-3 over last two seasons and has 14-0 consecutive wins over GMC foes as the Lakota West starting quarterback. Bolden has offers from Army, APSU, Fordham, Marshall and Western Michigan.
