Campbell County’s Smith voted POW

Nathan Smith of Campbell County was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 1, tallying 1,555 votes (31.05 percent).
Smith amassed 332 yards of total offense (141 pass, 191 rush) and had three touchdowns on the ground as the Camels beat NewCath, 28-18.
He edged out Jaxon Schreiber of Oak Hills and Western Brown’s Zackery Chisman in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 16 players were nominated with 7,416 votes casted.
