Oak Hills’ Barkley voted POW

Luke Barkley of Oak Hills was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 10, tallying 2,238 votes (18.18 percent).
Barkley led the Highlanders’ defense with five solo tackles, a sack, two tackles for losses, an interception with a 38-yard return and had a reception for 13 yards on offense as Oak Hills shutout Middletown, 7-0.
He edged out Bo Rickman of West Clermont and Northwest’s Kinxton Hill in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 20 players were nominated with 12,313 votes casted.
