2023 Video Snapshot: Princeton

In two years under head coach Andre Parker, Princeton has had its share of achievements. Parker knows and believes that his Vikings can accomplish more and ascend to even greater heights. With a punishing defense leading the way, the program looks to validate its spot amid their upper echelon peers.

HONOR ROLL
Jaylen Eberhardt
, Sr, OL – The heart-and-soul of the offense and leader of the o-line. Eberhardt was named OPSWA Division I Second Team All-Southwest District and Third Team All-TriState Football as a junior. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound Eberhardt has offers from Appalachian State, Kent State, Miami (OH), Middle Tennessee State, Morgan State and Youngstown State.

Paul “PJ” Nelson, Jr, LB – The real deal! Nelson is one of Ohio’s top players in the Class of 2025. He registered 57 total tackles, with five sacks, 11.5 tackles for losses and six forced fumbles on his way to being named OPSWA Division I Honorable Mention All-Southwest District as a sophomore. Nelson’s offers include Boston College, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, UMass, Miami (OH), Michigan, Michigan State, Pitt, Toledo and West Virginia.

Chaz Cole, Sr, DB – A Second Team All-GMC selection as a junior. Cole was in on 29 total tackles and had four interceptions. He has offers from Findlay, Ohio Dominican and Tiffin.

Dorian “DJ” Williams, Sr, WR – Don’t be fooled by his stats, Williams is one of the elite receivers in Southwest Ohio. A big target at 6-foot-4 and 198-pounds, Williams was named Second Team All-GMC after catching 22 balls for 374 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. He has verbally committed to Vanderbilt.

Teryntino Brown-Freeman, Jr, RB – A dynamic sparkplug out of the backfield. Brown-Freeman ran for 535 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore. He was named Second Team All-GMC for his work.

OTHER RETURNEES
Solomon Farrell, Sr, LB – Look for the talented linebacker to put up monster numbers as a senior. Farrell had 25 total tackles, one-and-a-half sacks, six tackles for losses and three pass breakups a year ago. He has offers from Austin Peay, BGSU, Charlotte, Colorado, Indiana, Kent State, Morgan State, Navy, Toledo, West Virginia and Youngstown State.

Travis Lawrence, Sr, LB – One of the unsung heroes and leaders of the defense. Lawrence recorded 64 total tackles, had two sacks, seven-and-a-half tackles for losses and a forced fumble as a junior.

Jordan Houston, Sr, WR/P – A valuable commodity on offense and special teams. Houston reeled in 23 receptions for 311 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. He also averaged 36.8 yards on 20 punts with a long of 57-yards and dropped five punts inside the opponents 20-yard line.

Kevin Jordan, Sr, DB – An opportunistic player, Jordan was in on 29 total tackles and had three fumble recoveries in 2022.

CJ Coleman, Sr, DL – A pleasant surprise for the Vikings defense in 2022. Coleman recorded 32 total tackles, had two sacks, nine tackles for losses, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Airriss Rosemond, Jr, DB – A key member of the secondary. Rosemond tallied 33 total tackles and had four passes defended in 2022. He has offers from Eastern Michigan and UMass.

NEWCOMERS
Bishop James
, Sr, QB – The offense gets a huge boost with the addition of James, a transfer from Oak Park (MI). He will be the Vikings fourth different starting quarterback in as many years.

Shelvon Hibbett, Jr, RB – The transfer from Mason adds depth and experience to the Vikings backfield. He led the Comets in rushing with 692 yards and five touchdowns in 2022.

Andre Parker Jr., So, LB – Another quality linebacker in the pipeline who will have some big moments this fall. Parker Jr. played in three games as a freshman, recording five total tackles. He picked up his first offer from Kentucky in June.

Landen Miree, So, WR – The heir apparent to Williams at receiver. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Miree has an offer from Kentucky.

Jaylen Mercer
, Fr, TE/DE – Will get his shot at breaking into the rotation. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound incoming freshman has an offer from Kentucky.
