Dayton Round-Up: Alter’s woes against Badin continue

Who’s house? Rams house! For the sixth time in their last seven meetings, Badin tops Alter and continued its mastery over GCL Co-ed foes. The Rams are now 18-0 in CGL Co-ed games dating back to 2020 and have won 36 consecutive regular season games.
Badin was balanced, posting 410 yards of total offense (201 pass, 209 rush). Sophomore Lem Grayson ran for a career high 118 yards rushing and had a touchdown. Rams seniors Zach Yordy, Alex Ritzie and Aidan Brown had big nights. Yordy ran for 91 yards on nine carries and a pair of scores. He has found the end zone in five straight games. Ritzie completed 15-20 passes for 201 yards and touchdown pass to Brown, who finished with six receptions for a career best 128 yards.
Alter sophomore Noah Jones was on fire again with a game high 152 yards rushing and a touchdown. Jones has three straight games of 100-plus yards on the ground is averaging 145.7 yards per contest in that span.

CHAMINADE JULIENNE 56, CARROLL 7 – Chaminade Julienne (6-2, 2-1) runs the ball 36 times for 476 yards and seven touchdowns as they crushed Carroll (2-6, 0-3). Junior Aiden Lowery had 10 carries for 165 yards and three scores. Classmate Nydrell Wright had 138 yards and a touchdown on the ground and sophomore Malachi Ringer had 91 yards and touchdown.

WAYNESVILLE 42, MADISON SENIOR 0 – It was a seventh straight win for Waynesvlille (7-1, 4-0) as they blanked Madison Senior for their first shutout of the year. Spartans junior quarterback Alex Amburgy, had a touchdown passing, rushing and receiving, all before halftime. Classmate Garrett Lundy ran for 174 yards and a pair of scores.
