SE Indiana 2023 Playoff Pairings

The pairings are out for the 2023 IHSAA playoffs and several Southeast Indiana teams have excellent shots at hoisting trophy’s. Class 3A, Sectional 31 might as well be called the EIAC Invitational with six of the eight schools in the bracket being from the conference.

Here is a look at our local TriState Football teams and their roads to Sectional titles.

Connersville junior Micah Buchanan has run for 636 yards and seven touchdowns.

Edgewood (2-7) at Jennings County (4-5) winner vs. Greenwood (2-7) at Connersville (4-5) winner

East Central RB Josh Ringer has run for 1,685 yards with 36 touchdowns (33 rush, three rec). He has 94 career touchdowns (88 rush, six rec).

Lawrenceburg (7-2) at Centerville (9-0) winner vs. Batesville (8-1) at Rushville (3-6) winner

Batesville junior Will Jaisle has thrown for 1,190 yards, ran for 286 yards with 25 touchdowns (20 pass, five rush) and only two interceptions.

Jake Meiners is 12-3  in the playoffs as the head coach at East Central.
