Berg, Hill, Everhart earn top honors in Division II

Anderson tailback Brodey Berg has been named the 2023 OPSWA Division II Southwest District Offensive Player of the Year. The do it all running back has powered the Raptors into their second straight regional title game. Berg led the ECC in rushing with 1,373 yards and 32 touchdowns on the ground. He also has 58 receptions for 795 yards and another 8 scores. The senior is committed to Columbia University of of the Ivy League.
Winton Woods star Justin Hill is the 2023 OPSWA Division II Southwest District Defensive Player of the Year. The junior linebacker helped Winton Woods to another outstanding season and second round playoff appearance. Hill had 36 tackles on the season and an astounding 13 sacks for the Warriors. Hill has offers that include Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Florida among a bevy of others.
Troy Everhart is tabbed the 2023 OPSWA Division II Southwest District Coach of the Year. Everhart led the Trojans to a regional semifinal appearance this season with an overall record of 11-2. Troy had a four game increase in wins this season as they made it to the final 16 in division II.
