Springfield makes it 5 straight

HILLIARD, ohio – Left for dead and sitting at 3-5, seven weeks ago, Springfield has risen from the ashes after winning its fifth consecutive regional title, beating Dublin Coffman in thrilling fashion. The Wildcats who entered the playoffs as the 12 seed (Dublin Coffman was the six seed) won their seventh game in a row and will now face Moeller for a third straight year in the Division I state semifinals.

Jayvin Norman ran for 197 yards and bookend touchdowns to start and finish the contest. The latter being the game clincher late in the fourth quarter. The Springfield senor ran for a career high 201 yards, a week earlier versus Olentangy. He accounted for 72% of the Wildcats yards on offense against Dublin Coffman.
