2023 IFCA Class 4A Senior All-State Team

There were more accolades for undefeated state champion East Central (15-0) players as Ryan Brotherton and Dylan Maxwell were named to the 2023 IFCA Class 4A Senior All-Indiana Team.
The versatile Brotherton amassed 1,426 all-purpose yards, had 440 yards rushing (12.2 yds/carry) with another 757 yards on 35 receptions (21.6 yds/catch) and 19 touchdowns (13 rec, six rush). The Western Michigan commit finishes his career with a school record 30 touchdown catches, 93 receptions, 2,068 receiving yards, 1,757 yards rushing, 17 rushing scores, 48 total touchdowns and 4,326 all-purpose yards.
Maxwell was a centerpiece of a Trojans defense that allowed just 7.1 points per game and held 12 foes to seven points or less including seven shutouts. The senior had 86 total tackles, 10.0 tackles for losses, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions. He also ran for 729 yards and five touchdowns. Maxwell’s 114 solo tackles are third most in school history.
Missing from this team are East Central running back Josh Ringer and offensive lineman Noah Schneider. The pair was named to the 2023 Indiana Top 50 Team. There were no EIAC players selected for the Class 4A Junior All-Indiana Team.
