CINCINNATI, Oh. – When you have a defense like the #13 LaSalle Lancers, there’s no need to have to score 40-plus points a game. And that is how, after two weeks into the 2024 season for the Lancers, it is shaping up as they put on another dominant defensive display Friday night at home against the Northmont Thunderbirds, winning handily by a tally of 27-6.

Ty Brown and Isaac Goldschmidt each ran for a pair of scores for the victors. Goldschmidt ran for 138 yards on 22 carries. Brown finished the night with 121 yards on eight totes.

Coming off an impressive defensive performance in Week One against the neighborhood rival Colerain Cardinals, in a 20-7 victory, the Lancers carried that momentum into Week Two, not allowing the Thunderbolts to score until the fourth quarter and the game was all but decided.

LaSalle moves to 2-0 on the season, while Northmont drops to 0-2.
