Walnut Hills voted Team of Week

The Walnut Hills Eagles were voted the Gold Star Team of the Week for Week 1 as they knocked off Western Hills 30-8, snapping the school’s 27-game losing streak.
The Eagles finished with 2,598 votes (33.24 percent) of the 7,817 total votes tallied, edging out New Richmond and Boone County in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.
Campbell County, Harrison, Indian Hill, Oak Hills, Middletown, Moeller and Ryle were also nominated.
As the Team of the Week winner, Walnut Hills will be presented an award to the team in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
