Eagles soar over Spartans

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy took one step closer Friday night to clinching their first Miami Valley Conference Scarlet title in six years.

Eagles quarterback Griffin Ridner Richard, one of the top arms in the MVC, went 18 of 23 for 239 yards, including a 62-yard TD pass to John Irwin, running back Brayden Mitchum ran for 174 yards and three touchdowns, and Jackson Vest had a Pick-Six on the defensive side as CHCA easily handled Roger Bacon 35-14,  moving to 7-1 on the season and alone in the top spot in the MVC Scarlet at 3-0.

CHCA outgained the Spartans 428 total yards to 251, and had two interceptions of Roger Bacon quarterback Bubba Smart, who went 13 of 25 for 180 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
