Amburgy named Division V Southwest District OPOY

Waynesville quarterback Alex Amburgy has shined from the first week of the 2024 season and is still burning bright. The senior has fueled the fire for a second straight run to the Region 20 semifinals. Amburgy has thrown for 2,438 yards, ran for 880 yards and accounted for 42 touchdowns (27 pass, 14 rush, one rec) on his way to being named the Southwest District Offensive Player of the Year.
