Senior Salute: Emory Severance
- Updated: December 26, 2024

Often overlooked and unappreciated, Ross quarterback Emory Severance proved he was a force to be reckoned with in 2024. The Rams senior was named the SWBL Southwestern Offensive Player of the Year, OPSMA Division III Honorable Mention All-Ohio and OPSMA First Team All-Southwest District after putting on a show with his legs.
Severance ran for a league best 1,509 yards, threw for 333 yards, amassed 1,773 all-purpose yards and accounted for 20 touchdowns (15 rush, five rush) as Ross made the playoffs for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
“Emory was a unanimous team captain. He is an undeniable talent at any position,” Ross Head Coach Kenyon Commins states.
Severance finishes his career at Ross with 3,108 yards rushing, 3,600 all-purpose yards, 808 yards passing, 33 rushing touchdowns and 11 scoring tosses.
