TSF announces Team, Player of the Year nominees for 2024

Since our inception in 2005, TriStateFootball.com has been committed to recognizing excellence on and off the field for high school football across Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana with our annual TSF Year in Review Show and awards.

Our highest honor is the one we reward to our TriStateFootball.com / Blitz 5 Team of the Year. This year’s group of teams is a superb collection of some of the best teams in the entire region. 

Here are this year’s recipients:

  • Cincinnati: Anderson Raptors
  • Dayton: Centerville Elks
  • Kentucky: Cooper Jaguars
  • Indiana: Batesville Bulldogs

In addition, we will be naming our Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year for each of those areas. All nominees are invited to the show, which is where the winner will be announced with the exception of Indiana where we will only announce a winner.

Here are this year’s nominees for Player of the Year:

CINCINNATI
Offense: Justice Burnam (Anderson), Devlan Daniel (Indian Hill), Gracen Goldsmith (Hamilton), Trace Jallick (Anderson), Cole Koops (Harrison), Matt Ponatoski (Moeller), Demico Harris (St. Bernard-Elmwood Place), Jahmeir Spain (Taft) and Sam Wiles (Lakota West). 

Defense: Grant Beerman (Lakota West), Kobe Clapper (St. Xavier), Raishawn Cotton (Mount Healthy), Ryan Coyle (Cincinnati Country Day), Justin Hill (Winton Woods), P.J. Nelson (Princeton), Brady O’Connor (LaSalle), Drayden Pavey (Taft) and Logan White (Harrison).

DAYTON
Offense: Alex Amburgy (Waynesville), Brock Baker (Fairmont), Shane Cole (Centerville), Jackson Davis (Tippecanoe), Tyrell Lewis (Wayne), Garrett Lundy (Waynesville), Emory Severance (Ross) and Deaunte White (Xenia). 

Defense: Cesar Berryman (Valley View), Ronnie Butler (Xenia), Collin Isaac (Tippecanoe), Royce Rachel (Badin), Royce Rogers (Springfield), Jake Taylor (Centerville), Aiden Weimer (Springboro) and Jamarcus Whyce (Trotwood-Madison).  

KENTUCKY
Offense: Kaleb Evans (Lloyd Memorial), Chase Flaherty (Beechwood), Armani Gregg (Dixie Heights), Cash Harney (Covington Catholic), Clay Hayden (Beechwood), Wyatt Hatfield (Conner), Isaiah Johnson (Cooper) and Cam O’Hara (Cooper). 

Defense: Austin Alexander (Cooper), Dameyn Anness (Ludlow), Ryker Campbell (Cooper), Kaleb Cole (Newport Central Catholic), Jacob Savage (Ryle), Dillon Smith (Ryle) and Gabe Williams (Highlands).  

INDIANA
Offensive Player of the Year: Will Jaisle (Batesville)
Defensive Player of the Year: Noah Knigga (Lawrenceburg)

This year our TSF Year in Review Show will once again be held at Holy Grail at the Banks on President’s Day – Monday, February 17th, 2025. – RSVP NOW.

The members of the 2024 Postseason All-TSF Team, the TSF Teams of the Year, Players of the Year and finalists from Indiana, Dayton, Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati as well as the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Players of the Week will be recognized at the TSF Year in Review Awards Show.
