2025 Snapshot: Miamisburg
- Updated: April 28, 2025

Things didn’t go as planned for Miamisburg in 2024. The Vikings are eager to turn the page and play for new head coach and former alum, Matt Muncy. He loves his squad “physicality and togetherness.” They are going to need those bonds and that toughness all season long against a schedule that features six teams that won at least one playoff game a year ago.
Miamisburg returns six starters on offense and will run a spread scheme. The unit is looking for someone to emerge at running back behind a offensive line that will be one of the teams strengths. The Vikings defense brings back seven starters and will line up in a 4-2-5 system for Muncy.
There are very few contributors remaining from the 2023 team that won the school’s third ever playoff game. This Miamisburg squad is out to forge its own identity. Bank on it resembling their head coach and his intensity.
Division II, Region 8

Tamir Thomas, Sr, slot/RS – An explosive return man who should see an expanded role on offense this season. Thomas has returned two punts for touchdowns in his career.

Colton Lemons, Sr, LB – Teams with Ennis and Ngoh to give the Vikings a formidable linebacking core. Lemons was in on 31 tackles, with a sack and 5.0 tackles for losses as a junior.
