There are more than a handful of teams that are capable of winning the 2025 Division IV, Region 16 Championship and Valley View is one of them. The Spartans return a backfield that ran for 99% of all their rushing yards (2,661 of 2,691 yards) and the four players that scored all 36 of their rushing touchdowns a year ago. On defense, the team brings back  a linebacking core that would make any school in Southwest Ohio envious. A third regional title in the last four seasons is not out of the question in Germantown.

“Our skill players will have the most experience and will need to provide leadership to carry us through the season. We will be replacing more than one multiple year starter on both the offensive and defensive lines.  We will need to have some guys step into roles up front in order to have success,” head coach Matt King states.

The Valley View senior class has accrued 35 wins over the past three seasons. The Spartans are accustomed to winning. “Each year our goal is to reach our potential. We are excited about the returning players that we have but will need some guys to grow into the roles that are yet to be filled. We will have to be ready to go starting Week 1 and the individuals who end up filling those roles will have to grow up quickly. The players have been working hard and are excited to get going and compete for an SWBL title,” King says.
