2025 Video Snapshot: Wyoming

For the eighth time in nine seasons Wyoming finished the regular season 10-0 in 2024. With 10 starters back on both sides of the ball, the Cowboys are sitting high in the saddle. It appears that his ride is far from over for the “Pokes on Penderey.”

Division IV, Region 16
2024 RECORD: 11-1, 7-0 CHL
COACH: Aaron Hancock (145-20 at Wyoming, 13 years; 145-20 overall)

HONOR ROLL
Josiah Gault, Jr, WR/DB – A dynamic playmaker, who has District Player of the Year talent and perhaps more by the time it is all said and done. Gault had a big sophomore campaign, averaging 27.5 yards on 32 receptions with 10 touchdown catches, 1,054 all-purpose yards, 38 tackles and three interceptions including a pick-six. He had five games with 100-yards or more yards receiving, eight games with at least one touchdown reception, five touchdown catches of 57-yards or more and 10 games with at least one reception of 30 or more yards. Gault was named OPSMA Division IV Second Team All-Ohio for his efforts. He has offers from Miami (OH), Kent State and Western Michigan.

David Dupee, Jr, QB – A pleasant surprise Dupee did a great job of not trying to do too much and letting the game flow helping the Cowboys to an undefeated regular season as a sophomore. He threw for 2,091 yards with 21 touchdown tosses and one score rushing. Dupee was named OPSMA Division IV Honorable Mention All-Southwest District for his efforts.

Tyler Johnson-Huff, Jr, RB/LB – Had a breakout sophomore season, Johnson-Huff’s best days are still ahead. He earned Second Team All-CHL honors after recording 106 tackles, 4.0 sacks, 11.0 tackles for losses, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four pass breakups. He will team with Hamilton to handle backfield duties.

Tate Bartlett, So, OL/DL – A starter as a freshman, Bartlett helped pave the way for an offense that averaged 334.25 yards of total offense and 33.6 points per game in 2024. The 6-foot, 280-pound lineman was named Honorable Mention All-CHL for his work.

Jackson Hamilton, Sr, RB/LB – A senior leader who will play a major role at linebacker and running back. Hamilton was a Second Team All-CHL selection as a junior. Hamilton has run for 969 yards, has 13 rushing touchdowns, 16 receptions for 154 yards, 1,141 all-purpose yards, 65 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, three pass breakups and two interceptions in his career.

OTHER RETURNEES
Justin Robinson, Sr, DB – Has been very opportunistic in his two varsity campaigns. Robinson heads into his senior campaign with 52 tackles, one forced fumble, nine pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and five interceptions.

Chase Crittenden, Sr, OL/DL – Will start on both sides of the ball. Crittenden was tenacious on defense with 42 tackles, 7.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery as a junior.

Drew Bocian, Jr, WR/DB – Should see a lot of one-on-one matchups both as a receiver and a d-back with the attention Gault will get. Bocian reeled in 16 receptions for 181 yards, three touchdowns, 26 tackles, two fumble recoveries, three pass breakups and two interceptions last fall.

Donovan Brown, Jr, WR/DB – Will see an expanded role on offense and defense. Brown amassed 471 all-purpose yards, had eight receptions for 111 yards, a pair of touchdowns (one rush, one rec), 38 tackles, one fumble recovery and four pass breakups as a sophomore.

AJ Williams, Jr, OL/DL – Like Crittenden and Bartlett, Williams will be a warrior in the trenches. The 6-foot, 280-pound lineman recorded 38 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Charlie Walker, Jr, TE/LB – Teams with Hamilton and Johnson-Huff to give the Cowboys a formidable linebacking core. Walker Had 34 tackles a year ago.

NEWCOMERS
A welcome addition to this team is junior transfer WR/DB Brylan Miltenberg who was named OPSMA Division II Second Team All-Southwest District last season at Monroe. He had 36 receptions for 518 yards, eight touchdown catches, 34 tackles and five interceptions for the Hornets. The lines add depth and size with junior OL/DL Luke Freund (6-5/280) and sophomore OL/DL AJ Osier (6-3/250) joining the rotations up front.
