The Turpin Spartans were voted the Gold Star Team of the Week for Week 6 as they defeated West Clermont, 49-14.
The Spartans finished with 30.24 percent of the 5,651 total votes tallied, edging out Lawrenceburg and Holmes in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.
Bethel-Tate, Colerain, Dixie Heights, Reading, St. Henry, Western Hills and Wilmington were also nominated.
As the Team of the Week winner, Turpin will be presented an award to the team in the near future from our friends at Gold Star.
