No surprises here as Jacob Savage (Ryle) and Cam O’Hara (Cooper) were named the 2025 NKFCA Northern Kentucky Players of the Year. Savage, an Indiana commit, is also a finalist for Kentucky Mr. Football. He finished the year with 1,222 yards rushing, 12 receptions for 204 yards, 29 touchdowns (24 rush, five rec), 112 tackles, 15.0 tackles for losses, a forced fumble and three takeaways (two INTs, one FR) for the 10-4 Raiders.
O’Hara threw for 2,231 yards, with 26 touchdown passes and three scores on the ground for the 8-4 Jaguars. The Western Kentucky commit finished his career with 11,227 yards passing 126 touchdown passes (most in Northern Kentucky history) and eight rushing touchdowns.
