2025 TSF Kentucky TOY: Lloyd Memorial

We knew Lloyd Memorial (13-1) was going to be good but no one envisioned them going through the regular season unbeaten and then making it all the way to the state semifinals. The Juggernauts excellence was rewarded as they were named the 2025 TriState Football Kentucky Team of the Year as TSF paid tribute to the area’s finest from Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Southeast Indiana at the TriState Football Year in Review Show on Monday night, in front of a packed house at the Holy Grail in downtown Cincinnati.

For the third time in the last four years Lloyd Memorial racked up double-digit victories (they won nine games in 2024). It was also the Juggernauts second state semifinals appearance in that same span. The senior class went a combined 42-10 in their four years at the school.

A balanced offensive attack kept Lloyd’s foes back on their heels. The Juggernauts averaged 40.0 points per game, had 75 offensive touchdowns (39 rush, 36 rec), amassed 4,575 yards of offense (2,496 pass, 2,079 rush) and averaged 326.8 yards of offense per contest.

Quarterback Kaleb Evans threw for 2,471 yards with 36 touchdown passes and only seven interceptions. Lincoln Tomlinson (18), Colten Barger (16) and Avery Conrad (15) combined for 49 of the team’s 75 offensive touchdowns. Barger averaged 22.9 yards on 47 receptions for 1,078 yards and 15 scores.

Defensively, Lloyd Memorial allowed just 14.2 points per contest and held six foes to seven points or fewer. They also created 26 turnovers (13 INTs, 13 FRs). Barger (5- 3 INTs, 2 FRs), Ryan Miller (4 FRs) and L.J. Herron (4 Ints) combined for half of those takeaways. Tomlinson led the team with 16.0 tackles for losses and Demareon Peterson had a team high 6.0 sacks.
