“It was the best of times and the worst of times” for Deer Park football in 2025. The Wildcats started the season 5-0 and were seven-point and two-point losses away from being 7-1 but finished the year with six straight defeats. The bright spot in the dim ending was that the school made its sixth straight playoff appearance.
The players are motivated and chomping at the bit to prove that they are far better than they showed last fall for head coach Tucker Berger who has been a stabilizing force for the program since his arrival.
