The oak hills highlanders went on the road and pitched a shutout against the Fairfield Indians and their former coach. The Oak Hills defense forced a few turnovers and were able to take the momentum early and keep the crowd out of the game. Fairfield was unable to muster anything on the offensive end of the football field as they were shutdown and also plagued by turnovers all night.
For the Highlanders, Cordell Ball scored a rushing touchdown and the visitors also got a strong performance from Anquan Evans who also had a rushing score.. The final points were on a pick-six by sophomore defensive back Bentley Earls. The highlanders are now 2-0 on the season.
