Vikings roll past Middies

The Princeton Vikings moved to 2-0 on the season with a commanding win on the road against Middletown. Monsanna Torbert and Jordan Hall led the way offensively as Princeton won 28-7. The Princeton defense did their job as well as the Vikings held the Middies to just 114 total yards on the night. Derrick Jeffries had 10 tackles and Gianni Simpson was a ball hawk with two interceptions.

Torbert rushed for one score and threw for two more on the night. He was able to connect with Hall and Lorenzo McMullen Jr, for the two passing scores. Torbert rushed for over 100 yards in the win. Both teams continue GMC play next week. The Middies will be seeking their first win of the season after last season’s deep playoff run.

RECORDS: Princeton 2-0; Middletown 0-2
