Oak Hills went on the road and picked up a big conference win over Mason on Friday night. The Highlanders used a balanced attack and just enough defense to come away victorious. Lincoln Schreiber threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Cordell Ball paced the team in receiving with 10 catches, 96 yards and a score and Anquan Evans rushed for two touchdowns while amassing 78 yards on the ground. Derion Kidd had five catches for 60 yards and Cooper Sweet caught a receiving touchdown as well. Oak Hills was led on defense by Ethan Ewing and Bentley Earls.
Mason got three touchdown runs and 114 yards from quarterback Alex Nagel but came up short in the win column. Cameron Simmons led the team with eight tackles on the night. The loss drops the Comets to 1-4 on the season. Oak Hills moves to 3-2.
