Lawrenceburg dominates in win

Lawrenceburg went on the road and came away with a dominant victory over Franklin County on Friday night. The Tigers played a complete game in getting the win. Lawrenceburg led 20-7 at the half and outscored Franklin County 22-0 in the second half to win going away. With the win Lawrenceburg still has just that one loss to East Central as they are 4-1 on the season. Franklin County dropped to 3-2.

Trey Boyce returned an interception 77 yards for a score and Crue Gilmour had a 49 and 36 yard rushing score to highlight some of the scoring on the night. Brogan Wynn also scored two touchdowns in the win as he had a solid game rushing the football. Lawrenceburg has been a thorn in Franklin County’s side over the last several seasons.

Both teams return to action next week.
