Lebanon erased a 14-point halftime deficit and rallied for a thrilling overtime victory over Little Miami on Friday night.
After falling behind 21-7, the Warriors scored 14 unanswered points in the third quarter to tie the game. The teams traded touchdowns in the fourth to force overtime, where Little Miami struck first. Lebanon answered with a 16-yard touchdown pass from Mason Reed to Wyatt Lassen. After an offsides penalty moved the extra-point attempt closer, the Warriors elected to go for the win, and Logan Schmenk converted the two-point try to complete the comeback.
Schmenk finished with three touchdowns and 43 rushing yards, while Reed threw for 143 yards and the touchdown to Lassen and added a team-high 47 yards on the ground. Jordan Foster led the receiving corps with three catches for 79 yards. Defensively, Hunter Adkins recorded a team-high eight tackles, while Evan Gray forced and recovered a fumble.
Lebanon improves to 4-1, while Little Miami falls to 3-2. Both teams return to ECC action next week.
