The Elder Panthers went north to Springboro and came away with a convincing 21-7 win on Friday night. In a battle of Panthers, Elder controlled the game en route to a dominating win. After a scoreless first quarter, Elder methodically built a 21-0 lead and were never threatened late in the game as they got the win.
Wide receiver Drew Waugligman had a big game for the visitors as he had 10 receptions and two touchdowns to go along with a team-high 97 yards receiving. Elder did major damage through the air as quarterback Kaden Estep passed for 242 yards and three touchdowns. Elder out gained Springboro 318-188 in total yards and overcame a turnover to get the road win.
Defensively Elder wast stingy by not allowing a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach. They also only allowed 18 yards rushing for the entire night and were led by Derek Uran who had 1o tackles. Elder now sits at 3-0.
