Williamsburg remains perfect

Williamsburg used a dominant second half surge to defeat host Roger Bacon on Friday night. The Wildcats trailed 13-8 at the half but outscored the Spartans 19-0 in the second half to get a 27-13 victory. The Roger Bacon student section was very vocal as their team were neck and neck during the first half but Williamsburg proved to be too much. Running back Gray Robinson had a big night for the visitors. Robinson rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns on the night.
The Wildcats also got a rushing score from Troy Harris. Harris also hauled in a team-high seven receptions with 49 yards receiving on the night. Williamsburg did their damage on the ground to remain undefeated on the season. The Wildcats rushed for 316 yards on the ground as a team. Williamsburg is 7-0 on the season and are trending in the right direction as we near the playoffs. They are currently projected as a number one seed in Division V, Region 20.
