HARRISON, Ohio – It was a happy Halloween night at Harrison. The Wildcats defense nailed down Butler’s coffin and put an end to the Aviators aspirations of a long playoff run. The offense was also scary good for the victors.
Harrison held Butler to a miniscule 46 yards of total offense including minus one-yard passing. The Wildcats gave up just two first downs and held the Aviators to 0-7 on third and 0-1 on fourth down conversion attempts. David Baldock created havoc all night with seven solo tackles, five tackles for losses and a sack. Grant Dallio also had a pair of sacks. Taking advantage of their pressure Jack Denier snared two interceptions. The junior now has seven on the season.
The performance by the Harrison offense was equally impressive, churning out 428 yards. Preston Flick ran for 151 yards and two touchdowns. It was his sixth straight game of 100-plus yards on the ground. He has 1,296 yards rushing on the season. Junior quarterback Brady Lawhon went 11-14 for 191 yards and three touchdowns (two pass, one rush).
Harrison has three losses this season by two points to CHCA and Columbus DeSales and a one-point loss to East Central. Those three teams are a combined 25-5.
