2025 TSF Indiana DPOY: Brady Ballart

Over the last four seasons South Dearborn linebacker Brady Ballart has played at the highest level possible. His efforts as a senior saw him garner more accolades as he was named the 2025 TriState Football Indiana Defensive Player of the Year, as TSF paid tribute to the area’s finest from Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Southeast Indiana at the TriState Football Year in Review Show on Monday night, in front of a packed house at the Holy Grail in downtown Cincinnati.

Ballart, who has signed with the University of Louisville recorded 110 total tackles, 4.0 sacks and 12.0 tackles for losses this past season. He also ran for 290 yards and found the end zone seven times (five rush, two rec). He was also named 2025 IFCA (Indiana Football Coaches Association) Top 50, EIAC Legends Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-TSF (Second Team in 2024, Third Team in 2023).

Ballart finished his career with 348 tackles, 5.0 sacks, 39.0 tackles for losses, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, one interception, 949 yards rushing, 18 receptions for 303 yards, 1,298 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns (15 rush, two rec).

This is the 15th year of this TSF Indiana Defensive Player of the Year award and Ballart is the first Knight to win the honor.
