SPRINGBORO, oh – Trailing for the first thre quarters, Wayne finally got its first lead of the game as the final stanza began on the third Kye Graham to Jamier Brown touchdown connection. The Warrior would add another fourth quarter score to pull away from Springboro and get their initial win of 2026.
Brown, an Ohio State commit, who was suspended for the first two games of the season had a career high three touchdown receptions on six catches for 120 yards. A starter since he was a freshman, it was also the first time that Brown has had back-to-back games with more than 100 yards receiving. The senior now has 32 touchdown catches in his career.
Graham finished the night with 243 yards and the third four touchdown passing game of his career. James Dyer also had five receptions for 107 yards and a score for the victors.
Brandon Birdsong Jr. paced Springboro with 132 yards and a touchdown rushing. Freshman Cooper Murdock made his first varsity start and went 10-20 for 123 yards with two touchdown passes, no interceptions and 42 yards rushing for the Panthers.
