Seven matchups between teams ranked in the Blitz 5 Top 25 highlighted a loaded Week 5 slate, and the results should provide plenty to talk about heading into the weekend.
In Northern Kentucky, #23 Beechwood and #11 Covington Catholic delivered a thriller, with the Tigers scoring in the final seconds to remain unbeaten.
Elsewhere, #13 La Salle went on the road and handed #14 Badin its first loss of the season, while #2 Elder continued its unbeaten start with another dominant defensive performance.
And in the Blitz 5 Game of the Week, #4 Moeller and #5 St. Xavier squared off in their GCL South opener, adding another chapter to one of the area’s biggest rivalries.
