Lakota West runs past Hamilton

Danny Otakasongo rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns as Lakota West beat Hamilton, 31-20 on Friday.
Otakasongo ran the ball 32 times. The Firebirds were ahead by just three entering the fourth quarter, but his two five-yard TD runs four minutes apart in the final stanza sealed it.
Lakota West quarterback Tony White finished 13 of 20 for 150 yards and one score. His top target, Payton Porterfield, caught four passes for 79 yards.
Big Blue quarterback Steve Cunningham was 18-for-31 for 265 yards and a pair of TDs. Vince Sanford had five receptions for 72 yards in the losing effort.
The Firebirds outgained Hamilton, 430-325, including 280-51 on the ground.
Lakota West will host Sycamore next week, while Hamilton travels to Colerain.
