Bellevue halts skid, shuts out Dayton

Bellevue had been shut out four straight weeks, but on Friday it was the Tigers holding their opponent off the scoreboard.

Cameron Chase scored three touchdowns as Bellevue blanked Dayton, 31-0 on Friday. Chase rushed 28 times for 188 yards and two TDs, and he caught a pair of passes for 64 yards and another score.

Quarterback Tucker Thomas went 4 of 6 passing for 103 yards and one touchdown. Nick Ackerson ran in the other TD for Bellevue on a 30-yard run.

The Tigers, who outgained Dayton, 408-169, will visit Ludlow next week while Dayton faces Beechwood on the road.
