Senior Salute: Peyton Ramsey
- Updated: November 24, 2015

Elder quarterback Peyton Ramsey couldn’t have written a better book than what he lived out as the Panthers’ starter the last three years. Ramsey has “wowed” the Elder faithful with his arm and his legs.
They story lines were fantastic as Peyton played for his father and guided Elder to a combined 24-12 mark while making the Division I playoffs all of those seasons (going 3-3). Ramsey earned a scholarship to Indiana. He was a two-time Division I, First-Team All-Southwest District selection and also GCL South Co-Offensive Player of the Year twice.
Ramsey finished his career having amassed 9,500 yards of total offense (6,808 passing, 2,692 rushing) while accounting for 81 touchdowns (49 passing, 32 rushing).
He ran for 115 yards or more eight times between his junior and senior campaigns and had two or more rushing touchdowns eight times in three years.
Through the air, Ramsey had 14 games with two or more scoring strikes and 15 contests of 200 yards or more passing in three campaigns.
