Dixie Heights finally a winner

A late touchdown finally put Dixie Heights in the win column.

The Colonels edged Conner, 28-21 on Friday after the Cougars had rallied from two touchdowns down to tie the score earlier in the second half.

Cooper Guillion threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns and Matt Simpson finished with 170 receiving yards in the losing effort for Conner.

The Colonels improved to 1-4 and will host Boone County next week, and the Cougars (2-2) will face Newport Central Catholic at home.
