TSF Rankings Update: Final

The end has come to another outstanding regular season of high school football. The Ohio Division II-III poll saw three different schools hold the top spot in the rankings over the last half of the year. It makes for great water cooler fodder as to who really was the best. The other three sets of rankings saw very little movement at the No. 1 spot in their polls.

Here is a look at the 2017 final rankings:

RANKINGS – OHIO DI
They played like reigning state champions all-season long, winning the close games and answering the challenges. St. Xavier started out as the team to beat in Division I they still remain the team to beat in the playoffs. The Bombers took out four teams that won eight games and two more that won six contests…FINAL RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
There was one last exclamation point to put on an undefeated regular season for Trotwood-Madison and they got it with a huge win over Division I No. 5 Wayne. The Rams solidifies their spot atop the poll with that victory. …FINAL RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
It was wire-to-wire as Wyoming started the season out on top of the poll and stayed there until the end. The Cowboys finished the regular season undefeated for a second straight year. …FINAL RANKINGS

RANKINGS – NKY
Covington Catholic seized control of the top spot after a Week 0 win over then No. 1 Ryle and never relinquished the position. The Colonels finished the regular season unbeaten, winning every game by at least 23 points. The defense never allowed more than 17 points in a contest…FINAL RANKINGS
