TSF Rankings Update: Week 2

It was all about taking care of business last weekend. There were some impressive showings and statements made by several teams. Colerain, Trotwood-Madison, Madison Senior and Cooper in Kentucky all had eye-popping performances. Here’s what’s in store heading into Week 2 of the season:

RANKINGS – OHIO DI
It was an impressive week for teams in the poll as they went 9-1 in Week 1. The rankings remain the same. A heavyweight matchup sees #1 Colerain at #3 St. Xavier on Friday night. For a second straight week # 7 Fairfield will take on a ranked GWOC National East squad as #10 Springfield heads south… COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
There is a new sheriff in town as #1 Trotwood-Madison surges to the top after an impressive win at #3 Winton Woods. The Rams replace #2 La Salle who lost to Division I #1 Colerain. Five teams in the poll lost their opener but none of them drop out of the rankings. No games between ranked teams but six schools will play larger Division I schools in Week 2… COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
The top small schools flexed their muscles in Week1 as the top nine teams in the poll all won. That will all change this weekend as #8 CHCA hosts #3 Indian Hill and #7 Taft entertains #1 Wyoming… COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – NKY
The big mover in this week’s poll is #4 Highlands. The Bluebirds jump up two spots after taking down #6 Campbell County. Making its debut in the poll is #8 Cooper who knocked NewCath out of the Top 8, beating them 42-36. Cooper now get the unenviable task of hosting #1 CovCath. The Colonels have won 17 in a row, all by 21 points or more. The other game between ranked teams this Friday is #7 Conner at #2 Simon Kenton… COMPLETE RANKINGS
