CovCath Upends Kings

PARK HILLS, Kentucky – The CovCath Colonels picked up their 19th straight win and moved to 4-0 in dominating fashion once again.

CovCath outgained Kings 449-153 in total offense in our U.S. Marines Battle of the Gridrion Series matchup. The Colonels opened up a 21-3 first quarter lead on another damp Friday night in Northern Kentucky and never looked back.

Senior running back Casey McGinness scored four times and tallied 203 total yards on just 12 touches. He also had 32 yards in punt return yards. Tight end Michael Mayer pulled in five catches for 86 yards.

Kings running back Nak’emon Williams rushed for 69 yards and the Knights’ lone score on 18 carries in the loss.

CovCath has now scored 40 or more points in each contest this season and has yet to see an opponent reach double digits.
