Blitz 5 Top 25: Firebirds atop rankings

For the third time in four weeks There is a new team atop the Blitz 5 Top 25 presented by TriStateFootball.com. Lakota West hops to the top. The Firebirds are 4-0 for the first time since 2012. They supplant St. Xavier who lost in the Hoosier state for the second time this season.

Making their initial appearance in the poll are Roger Bacon and Indian Hill. Both teams are lighting up the scoreboard, averaging 49 points per game. Defensively, they have been just as sensational. Roger Bacon is 15-2 in its last 17 contests. Indian Hill is hoping to play enough games so it can get to a sixth straight campaign with nine or more wins.
