Ross running back voted POW

Jackson Gifford of Ross was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 4, tallying 1,969 votes (22.5 percent).

Gifford found the end zone five times on 19 carries for 210 yards rushing as the Rams bucked Harrison, 49-35.

He edged out Anthony Scott of Edgewood and Little Miami’s Aidan Jones in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 15 players were nominated with a total of 8,758 votes registered.
