Blitz 5 Top 25: Lawrenceburg enters ranks

The Division I, Region 4 title and the top ranking in the Blitz 5 Top 25 presented by TriStateFootball.com are on the line Friday night as No. 1 Lakota West plays host to No. 2 St. Xavier. This the sixth straight week atop the poll for the Firebirds. St. Xavier occupied the top spot the two weeks prior to that.

After losing its opener to No. 9 East Central, Lawrenceburg has reeled off nine straight wins to crack the Top 25 for the first time this season at No. 24.

There are three games pitting ranked teams this weekend.
