Blitz 5 Top 25: St. Xavier finishes on top

It was a Division I, Region 4 championship game that more than lived up to its billing as a St. Xavier’s touchdown with just 0:27 left in the contest lifted the Bombers over then top-ranked Lakota West, 10-7. The victory boosted St. Xavier to the spot in the final Blitz 5 Top 25 presented by TriStateFootball.com poll of the season. The Bombers had spent the last six weeks sitting at No. 2 in the poll behind the Firebirds before finally getting the chance to settle the debate of who was the best on the field.
